This shoulder bag was completely handmade by D.R. Griffiths in his Arizona Leather shop. D.R. uses only the finest leathers for all of his items. The body of this bag is made from a medium/heavy weight high grade upholstery leather. The tooled front and back chap belts are of 6 oz. tooling leather. The concho thongs are from buffalo leather. The shoulder straps, thongs and accessories are from the same leather as the body. THIS IS A FINE QUALITY LEATHER BAG!
Do Not Confuse this Chaps Styled Shoulder Bag With Others Of Far Less Quality!
This soft leather shoulder bag measures 8 1/2 inches wide and 12 inches deep with a full 3 inch gusset. The adjustable shoulder strap is 16 inches long in the longest position. The fringe on the bottom edge of the body is 5 inches long. It features hand tooled and antiqued chap belt pieces on the front and the back. The front has 4 two-tone (silver and gold tone) antiqued conchos in two sizes. The back has one concho at the rear strap attachment point. The back also has a full flapped pocket that is 4 3/4" wide and 5 1/2" deep. Tethered to the inside of the bag is a zipped cell phone/ money pouch. This pouch measures 5 1/2" wide and 3" deep.
This bag is designed and detailed to have the look and feel of a fine set of Chaps (Chinks). The conchos are placed to replicate the leg strap attachment points. These conchos are all bleed knot attached with buffalo leather thongs. The finge is detailed with a pinking border and 1/4" antiqued sunburst spots. The Shoulder Straps are thong attached to the chap belt. The shoulder straps are doubled leather and double stitched.
