Gus Turn Back Spur Straps  - Like the Old Ranger Wore, Handmade Leather

These spur straps are completely handmade by D.R. Griffiths in his Arizona Leather shop. D.R. uses only the finest leathers for all of his items. If you are looking for a classic hard riding spur strap your look is over. These are our version of the straps design worn by that famous old Texas Ranger.   The body of the strap turns back through a D-ring and then pulls tight in a 3/4" stainless steel bridle buckle. The body and the D-ring end are both border tooled. The buckle is attached to the doubled body through a slot. This strap is designed for long years of hard use. Just pull'em up tight and mount up!

These straps have a reach of 8 1/2 to 10 1/2 inches measured in a straight line from button hole to button hole. This straps shown here are finished in Saddle Tan, they are also available in Black and Blood Brown.  These straps are hand antiqued, toned, rubbed and buffed. All of our edges are slicked and hand painted. This is a fine quality expert craftsman piece of handmade leather work. It should never be mistaken for some of the punched out, wash tub wringer embossed, slam banged, 2 bit work that is out there.
