If you want a real western leather pillow shouldn't it be made in the American West, the cowboy way. This pillow is made in Arizona by D.R. Griffiths in his cowboy leather maker shop.

Leather This pillow is all leather. The high grade upholstery leather is veined and distressed for a true aged effect. The lacing and fringe are all hand picked and hand cut.
True Cowboy Leather Lacing The laces on this pillow are hand cut from deer tanned cowhide. The lacing patterns used are true cowboy lacings. Cowboy lacing was functional. It securely held two pieces of leather together. The lacing pattern on this pillow is two thong running stairstep. True cowboy lacing.
Fringe was also functional. It started with the mountain men who fringed everything. Leather thongs were used to make and repair everything they used. When a thong was needed they just cut off a piece of fringe. Fringe on leather clothing also channeled away moisture for quicker drying. The fringe on these pillows is hand cut and hand twisted for a distressed effect.
