Full Pigskin Lining • Handmade • Shimmed Back Seam

This is a classic Slim Jim style holster with later style loop that adds security, helps the holster hold shape and, of course, adds style. This holster is in the vein of a vintage rig on page 185 of the gunleather bible - Packing Iron. This holster is completely handmade including hand saddle stitched back seam. The back seam is shimmed and the top edge is shaped for easy entry. The holster shown here is border tooled.
Please keep in mind we are a custom leather maker. We make your rig however you want it - basketweave, conchos, lined, floral carved, different color, etc. This piece is hand made in the D.R. Griffiths wild west leather shop in Arizona. The finest leathers in the proper weights are used to make a piece that will take long hard use. We take no shortcuts in building our holsters.
The holster shown is for a Army Colt, but we can build one for your piece and wet shape it to fit. Just e-mail us what hog-leg you want to shove in it.
